Coach Brussels – France Papélian

About me – Therapist

I am both a coach in conceptual interaction (CI) and an CI therapist in training, and I work from the belief that every person carries a unique inner landscape—formed by experiences, protective mechanisms, and deep-seated desires. My sessions focus on creating a safe space for that inner landscape: a soft foundation where you can land, without judgment, and where everything you share is welcome.

I support adults who are struggling with issues such as trauma, meaning, (self-)trust, and recurring patterns. Together, we explore how coping mechanisms or patterns developed, what they once meant to you, and where they might no longer serve you or could serve you differently today. Together, we explore what you need, what your desires are, what you want to strengthen or transform.

My way of working, with and without animals, is attuned and integrative: we engage thinking, feeling, willing, and acting. To this end, I combine various therapeutic approaches within the framework of conceptual interaction, depending on what is supportive at that moment in your process. Sometimes the movement lies in putting words to what has long remained silent, sometimes in allowing contrast, discomfort, or raw emotion to exist.

Working with animals (donkeys and ponies in Overijse, a dog in Boutersem) adds an extra layer of depth. They have a strong intuition, and their behavior reveals a lot. The use of animals is always done in consultation with you and based on your needs and desires.

I am a warm, creative, and engaged person, who doesn’t shy away from addressing difficult or painful parts when needed in a helpful way. Occasionally, I also bring a touch of lightness or humor to the process—not to be avoident, but to create breathing space in moments when things can be difficult.

As a neurodivergent person, I know how liberating it can be to finally no longer have to “fit in,” but to be allowed to exist as you are—even in what is different, confusing, feels deeper, or is difficult to express. This experience has broadened my perspective and deepened my work as a therapist: I don’t want adjustment, but attunement. Not correction, but encounter. You are welcome with all that you are, even if you don’t yet know exactly who that is.
